Hoboken and Jersey City suffer from a lack of social and building resilience due to coastal and precipitation flooding and an unsustainable public education system in which facilities fail to meet growing demand. Our initiative tackles this challenge through the design of a sustainable network of community fabric that includes existing schools as well as a new school and community buildings that also function as resilient hubs and safe routes throughout the neighborhood.
