Unstable Boundary

The Jim Thompson site is filled with tall grass and trees that cover the plots of land. Through time, we are imagining that the land changes throughout the season. It started as a field of gold due to the dry climate and it will end green during the wet season. The idea is to create a set of studios and residences that preserve the landscape and touches it lightly through a simple wood framed structures. The existing field is flattened slightly where it is needed. Over time, new grass will slowly grow back and swallow the context as if nothing was touched.
