Handmade: Evolving Materials

Located in the Isaan Village, this project is an expansion for an Artist residency program in the existing Jim Thomson Farm. Using local technologies and local approaches as the vehicles of interrogation. Rubber production, the Terracotta factory, and Bamboo structures are not only acquisitions of existing material capital but also capital in the form of knowledge. The project explores these capitals in new and different scales through which the designs take form.
