Unfortunately there is no financial aid available through Columbia University.
Admitted students are invited to apply to the Hilyard Robinson Scholars Program, which offers full tuition scholarships for selected GSAPP’s Intro to Architecture summer program students. Named in honor of the School’s first Black graduate and former chair of the architecture department at Howard University, the Hilyard Robinson Scholars Program is intended to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity by introducing career paths in architecture and its related fields. Please contact arch_admissions@columbia.edu with any questions.
Introduction to Architecture is a 5 week, 3 point course (non-degree and not eligible for full-time student status) and as such, we do not sponsor visas for the program.
Please visit the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs website for more information.
Tourism and Visit (B-2) allows “enrollment in a short recreational course of study, not for credit toward a degree”.
