Andrea Chiney

Andrea is a designer and educator living in Brooklyn. She is the co-founder of A+A+A, a woman led multi disciplinary design studio in New York City, where she focuses on public facing and community led design.

She has previously worked in Ottawa, Toronto, and New York, focusing mainly in public projects such as libraries, public housing, and hospitals for firms including Ennead Architects and Levenbetts. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP and a teacher at the Youth Design Center in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Originally from Peru and Canada, Andrea has a Bachelor of Architecture Studies from Carleton University (Ottawa, CA) and a Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP.
