Luc Wilson

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Luc Wilson is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP, where he teaches course focused on performance based design and urban data analytics, and an Adjunct Course Advisor in the Center for Data Science at NYU, teaching urban analytics as part of the Capstone Project course. He received his Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Colorado College.

Luc Wilson is an associate principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox and the director of KPF Urban Interface, an initiative focused on urban analytics and technology development. He has applied a data-driven design methodology on over 200 projects globally ranging from master plans to rezonings to supertall towers. A critical aspect of this work is research collaborations with Columbia University, Harvard University, New York University, and the New York City Department of City Planning. His work has been published in both academic and popular publications from Architectural Science Review and SIGGRAPH Asia to Wired and The New York Times.
