Sonam Sherpa

Sonam Sherpa is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP. He has served as an Associate Architect at Drake/Anderson working on high-end residential projects in the tri-state area. He works closely with the United Sherpa Association, a non-profit corporation based in Queens, where he is part of a team designing a large-scale cultural center located in Wallkill, NY. Sonam is currently working on a housing project in Kathmandu and a community center in the Solukhumbu district using on-site materials and low-tech Khumbu construction methods.
