Emily Ruopp, AIA has worked as a practicing architect in New York City since 2014 and currently works at Dattner Architects in the Residential Housing Studio. Emily has participated in a range of building projects, including offices, community centers, multi-family housing, single-family residences, and higher education buildings. In 2019, Emily attended courses at the New School Parsons School of Design for a workshop in the Healthy Materials Lab that focused on sustainably sourced and environmentally responsible materials. As an advocate, Emily actively participates in sustainable practice groups, women in architecture committees, LGBTQ+ rights organizations, and local volunteer groups.

Emily received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Science degree in Advanced Architecture Design from Columbia GSAPP, where she currently teaches studio courses and workshops for master’s students.
