Jose Lievano

Jose joined Drake in 2016 and is a Vice President on the Investor Relations team, focusing on capital raising in Latin America. Prior to this role, Jose was part of the Acquisition and Asset Management teams, where he was responsible for the evaluation of new opportunities, underwriting, due diligence, and business plan execution.

Prior to joining Drake, Jose spent over five years working in V2K, a vertically integrated real estate development firm, where he led the development of over 900 affordable residential units in Colombia.

Jose holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia GSAPP and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Bogota, Colombia. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia GSAPP, where he teaches the Capital Partnership Structuring class in the real estate development graduate program.
