Khoi Nguyen (‘18 MSAAD) is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University GSAPP.
He is an architect and founding partner of Future Projects with Julie Tran, an architecture firm
based in New York City that is guided by an interest in creating aesthetic experiences that
offer new ways of living, working, and connecting with one another. His work has been
featured in Domino Magazine, Architectural Digest Clever, and appeared in various exhibitions
and institutions including the 2019 Oslo Architecture Triennale, Fundación Cerezales Antonino
y Cinia, and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art.
Khoi is a licensed architect and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of
Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia
University GSAPP where he received the Honor Award for Design Excellence, the Lucille
Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize, and the William Kinne Fellowship.
