Located on an existing block at Fulton Mall, instead of creating a temporary hospital when a pandemic hits, this project aims to deploy a multi-functional infectious clinic by remodeling existing buildings. The plans were pre-designed according to the requirements of infectious care facilities. However, the spaces are daycare units in normal time to serve the local community. The partitions between each unit are membranes, a spatial interface of soft enclosures that can be removed when the function of the infectious clinic needs to be activated.
