The campus proposal utilizes excavated site materials as building materials. Earth, being used as rammed earth structural walls and floors in instances on finish grade. Stone used as foundations and retaining walls. Clay, in the form of bricks, used as space separators. Interior spaces were designed to create interactive workspaces between different schools of knowledge. This is established by forming multi-height spaces or volumes and not enclosed rooms. Thus, allowing cross connections visually and spatially throughout the spaces. Introducing sports amenities aides in bringing the existing community and school together. With the use of as-found site materials and spaces for the public the project can cement itself within the community and provide potential interactions of students and the people. Creating a safe environment for learning and leisure.
