The Experimental Agricultural Research Center

The Crystal Pavilion project in Madrid’s Casa de Campo symbolizes a transformative approach to urban development. Originally a space showcasing Spanish agricultural advancements, this project aims to repurpose the pavilion into a dynamic, inclusive platform. By integrating cutting-edge architectural concepts with natural growth elements, the renovated structure will serve as a community hub where art, research, and sustainable farming practices coalesce. The design introduces ‘pixel farming’, a novel agricultural method that harmonizes with the ecological needs and social functions of the space, fostering a unique blend of high-tech and natural environments. This initiative not only reinvigorates a historical site but also promotes social responsibility and community engagement through interactive, environmentally-conscious designs.
