The Ferrari Crash Strip is Ferrari’s new exclusive Formula 1 Testing Facility, where a series of technical and specific testing facilities occupy a portion of the Las Vegas Strip to restore Ferrari’s reputation after the incident at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Formula 1 Grand Prix in the center of Las Vegas was a highly anticipated event that, after two years of planning and construction at a cost of over 520M dollars, stopped in the first eight minutes of the first practice round. Carlos Sainz, a driver for Ferrari, drove over an unsealed manhole that popped open and destroyed the bottom of the 15M dollar car- a car that was designed by a team of 1000 engineers over the course of about 24 months.
