Post Office X Clinic

The driving force for this proposal is the belief that medical services should be just as available to the public as access to the local post office services. The design combines the existing post office with a medical clinic, servicing people in the community by offering a pharmacy, vaccinations, women’s health services, and substance abuse treatment facilities. The site also serves as a hub for mobile treatment vehicles to stock up on supplies and distribute throughout the community. This design aims to reinvent the US postal system, by reimagining the extent of services offered at a community site deep-rooted in American history.
