Notice of Surveillance

This project explores the pervasive nature of surveillance in the public and private built environment through found text at the Shops at Columbus Circle, informed consent, and contrived transparency.

These models materialize the invisible through fine wire and transparent acrylic and express the entangled, all-encompassing omnipresent layers of surveillance. These models are moments of surveillance; the acrylic captures every touch, every fingerprint the wire records every mistake.
