Hometender

Human beings are producing data in every movement and every moment. These personal data get conveyed to others and blended into our surrounding environments. Take a bartender as an example, the sound, the smell, the movement, the light, etc. are different forms of data generated when making drinks.

Hometender is a project in which sound data get collected, then analyzed based on the volume and frequency, and finally gets translated to light signals. When the light signals are simultaneously projected to the surroundings, the creativity hidden behind a drink gets visualized, the connection between maker and taster is established, and the architectural space is evoked by human activities.

We believe architecture can be responsive to human psychological and physical activities. This project is one way to explore.
