Adjunct Assistant Professor

Over the last 20 years, Jon Kully has completed over $1.5BN in CRE development. In 2002 he co-founded FLANK LP, a vertically integrated commercial real estate development firm, and in 2019, he launched FLANK GP Fund I, a $60MM GP fund with $900MM in active projects.

In 2021, Jon and his partners launched LEFT LANE, a vertically integrated private equity fund focused on acquiring and transforming luxury and lifestyle hotels in high-growth secondary markets. Under Jon’s management, Left Lane has since concepted two boutique hospitality brands, Hotel Bardo and Recess. Left Lane’s current projects & pipeline have a cost basis of over $1.2BN, and they are developing over 2M SF in iconic assets across the country. In 2024, Left Lane launched the award-winning Hotel Bardo Savannah, a 2-acre urban resort.

Jon received his Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP and his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.
