Mon, Mar 26, 2018    7pm

Please join GSAPP for a lecture with Malo Hutson, the Associate Professor in Urban Planning at Columbia GSAPP and Director of the school’s Urban Community and Health Equity Lab. Hutson is a widely-recognized scholar, teacher, and practitioner whose research at the intersection of urban planning and health inequities is of profound relevance in the planning of today’s cities across the United States, and around the world. Professor Hutson’s specific focus is on community development and urban equity, racial and ethnic inequalities and urban policy, as well as the built environment and health.

The lecture will be followed by a cocktail reception. We invite all Columbia University alumni to join us for this event.

This event is hosted by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations and organized by alumni Jewelle Kennedy ‘14 MSRED, Dean Di Simone '99 M.Arch, Allison Lyons '10 MSHP, and Brian Dollar '03 MSRED. This event is graciously hosted by the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, led by Director Priscilla Fraser '09 M.Arch.
