Fulbright Application Workshop with Khadija Ann Tarver

Please join GSAPP Career Services for a Fulbright application workshop with Khadija ann Tarver ‘23 M.Arch.

Khadija is a 2024 Fulbright Scholar to Brasil living and working in Salvador, Bahia. Her research is concerned with practices of fugitivity in the lusophone diaspora. She graduated from Columbia GSAPP in 2023 and received the Ali Jawad Malik Memorial History/Theory Honor Award, Alpha Rho Chi Medal, and the William Kinne Fellows Traveling Award.

In this session we’ll discuss:

What is the Fulbright Independent Study/Research Award? What are the program goals? Who is this research grant for? What are the language requirements? Where am I able to conduct my research? What types of projects does this fund? What are the application components?
