A lecture on AI and Architecture with Jessica Brams- Miller

Please join GSAPP Career Services for a lecture with, Jessica Brams-Miller. Jessica will delve into how AI is currently being incorporated into architecture. Jessica will provide insights into the specific applications of AI at Hart Howerton and showcase examples of how these technologies are transforming the architectural landscape.

Jessica Brams-Miller is the Director of Design Technology at Hart Howerton, a leading planning, architecture, and landscape design firm. She has over 15 years of experience in architectural design and digital transformation, focusing on BIM, rendering, sustainability, and R&D of future tools. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture and music from Lehigh University.

At Hart Howerton, Jessica leads a team of design technology specialists who guide the firm through adopting and implementing various forms of technology, such as Revit, D5 Render, Enscape, Twinmotion, cove.tool, and SimScale. She has also steered the Revit coordination for major projects at Columbia University, the American Museum of Natural History, and Cornell University, as well as several residential high-rise and mixed-use projects. Jessica has been a designer on award-winning projects recognized by the Philadelphia Community Design Collaborative, Philadelphia AIA, and the New York Building Congress, and her work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Jessica is passionate about advancing the practice of architecture through innovative technology and collaboration, and she has twice returned to Lehigh University as a workshop instructor in digital design.

The conversation will be moderated by Taha Erdem Ozturk, ‘24 M.Arch, and Teonna Nichol Cooksey '24 M.Arch/MS.UP.
