Urban Fabric & Scale

Urban Fabric & Scale invites Architecture and Urbanism practices working in/on Latin America to discuss interventions situated in the Latin American urban fabric and their capacity to cross different scales from urban furniture to infrastructural systems. Inviting practices working in Latin America allows the conversation to be ingrained in the specificity of their localities bringing forth the discussion around “identity.” The invitee will share case studies and examples from their authorship to guide the conversation towards a dialogue of the synergies, possibilities, ruptures, and tensions of the urban space.
