Spatial User Experience and Telepresence

A workshop lead by Violet Whitney, Adjunct Assistant Professor.

As more of our interactions and communications take place virtually on a flat screen, how can spatial designers leverage the physicality of the space around them? How can we rethink design collaboration about space in our physical spaces (using a whole room or home rather than a tiny computer window)? This eclectic crash course will empower students and faculty to think about and experiment with a plethora of physical and digital techniques in communication, from using telepresence with sound and light, to interactive projection in our homes.
